Midland Garage Door Adds Automated Shop Drawings to Dealer Portal

New capability generates door, track, jamb, and spring configurations for quotes and orders

Midland Garage Door streamlined the way dealers do business by launching Automated Shop Drawings within the Midland Dealer Portal. This new feature allows dealers to generate and download CAD drawings on quotes and orders instantly, 24/7, 7 days a week. Automated drawings include a door-view rendering with stile placements and section heights, spring pad placement details, and track and jamb views.

This enhancement is part of Midland’s continued investment in its digital infrastructure to support dealers with self-service tools inside the Dealer Portal. By making shop drawings available directly from quotes and orders, the update is intended to help dealers bid jobs more efficiently, prepare buildings for installation, and reduce ambiguity around door specifications and headroom requirements.
