» Midland Garage Door Mfg. Company's Timeline

• 1978- Opened our first Midland Garage Door Mfg. plant in Fargo, North Dakota

• 1979- Purchased our first roll former piece of equipment

• 1986- Purchased our second roll former piece of equipment and we moved to a new 76,000 square foot plant in West Fargo, North Dakota. We also expanded to a new plant facility in Burnsville, Minnesota.

• 1987- Expanded to our new plant facility in Omaha, Nebraska

• 1988- Introduced our new 3" Energy Saver commercial overhead door

• 1989- Expanded to our new 32,000 square foot plant facility in Chaska, Minnesota

• 1990- Introduced our new residential Raised Steel Panel 2" Thermo-Steel residential garage door

• 1991- Built our new plant facility in Omaha, NE

• 1992- Introduced our new 2" Energy Saver commercial overhead door

• 1994- Introduced our new Swing-up Center Post System

• 1997- Built our new 200,000 square foot manufacturing plant facility and added the state-of-the-art manufacturing and production equipment

• 2001- Introduced our new Thermo-Steel 1 3/8" residential garage door

• 2004- Introduced our new CU 175- 1 3/4” High Density Polyurethane commercial steel overhead door

• 2004- Introduced our new Classic Panel and Classic Panel Thermo-Steel residential garage doors

• 2007- Introduced our new Toggle Lock system

• 2008- Introduced our new Rosewood color design option

• 2008- Introduced our new Ranch Panel and Carriage Panel design options

• 2008- Introduced our 3" Energy Saver in six Midland colors

• 2009- Introduced our new Heavy Duty Hinge and Roller system

• 2009- Introduced our new expanded 3” Energy Saver 40’ commercial overhead door size

• 2010- Purchased our 3rd roll former piece of equipment
